Men's Health Month, observed in June, aims to increase awareness of avoidable health problems and promote early disease identification and treatment in boys and men. It's a movement rather
than just a reminder. Did you know that men are more likely than women to get diabetes, heart disease, and stroke?
Compared to women, men are less likely to seek medical attention, have
regular exams, and are less health knowledgeable. Delays in diagnosing and treating medical disorders are caused by several reasons. Let's support the campaign by encouraging communities
to help the guys they care about and by pushing men to take responsibility for their own health.
We're breaking down men's health into weekly focus areas in this blog series, including action actions, expert advice, and resources to help men live healthier, longer lives.
FOCUS:
Routine Screenings, Blood Pressure, Cholesterol, Glucose, BMI
WHY IT MATTERS:
Many men skip annual physicals and screenings. These “vital numbers” can detect chronic diseases early.
FOCUS:
Exercise, Mental Health, and Stress Reduction
WHY IT MATTERS:
Physical activity improves both physical and mental health. Men are less likely to seek help for stress, anxiety, or depression

Balanced nutrition is key to energy, immunity, heart health, and disease prevention.
FOCUS:
Prostate Screenings, ED, Fertility, and STIs
